Following the facelift of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/Peugeot-308\">Peugeot 308<\/a>, Stellantis is turning its attention to the updated Opel Astra, a sibling in spirit and a direct contender for the VW Golf&rsquo;s enduring territory.<\/p>\n<p>The sixth-generation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/opel-astra\/\">Astra<\/a> (L), launched in 2021, marked a clean break from its GM past, adopting Stellantis architecture for the first time. The Opel Vizor grille now incorporates broader LED elements framing the illuminated Opel Blitz badge. Together, these create what the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/09\/this-wild-concept-previews-opels-performance-evs\/\">refers to as the Opel Compass<\/a>, a design signature that will appear across the lineup.<\/p>\n<p>The Astra has also gained a redesigned bumper with glossy black trim between the intakes.
