That alone spelled the need for change, and it couldn&rsquo;t come fast enough. To that end, Filosa decided that Tavares&rsquo; ways of cost-cutting and margin chasing weren&rsquo;t working. <\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>In his time as CEO, he&rsquo;s decided to prioritize volume, familiarity, and affordability. And according to a new report, that all started in the &ldquo;emergency room.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&rsquo;s the Treatment Plan?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A source familiar with the matter spoke with <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/sustainability\/climate-energy\/inside-stellantis-ceos-emergency-room-rush-recapture-market-share-2025-12-11\/\">Reuters<\/a> <\/em>and said that Filosa is aiming to exceed analysts&rsquo; expectations for revenue and sales this year. Evidently, he&rsquo;s willing to sacrifice margin to accomplish such a goal, but volume itself could be enough to begin turning the ship around.<\/p>\n<p>Early indications are that Stellantis brands are making progress. During Q3, North American sales saw their first increase over the last eight quarters. The lineup includes several underperforming or overlapping brands, and a few, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/ds\/\">like DS <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/lancia\/\">Lancia<\/a>, may not survive unless they can demonstrate their relevance quickly.<\/p>\n<p>For now, Filosa appears dead set to prove Stellantis can still build vehicles people want and restore the automaker&rsquo;s credibility with customers and dealers alike.
