It&rsquo;s hard to tell whether it started life as a Jetta or a Golf, since those two models were practically siblings during that era, sharing most of their bones. <\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>What&rsquo;s clear is that aside from the doors, windshield, and side mirrors, just about every other exterior panel has been stripped away and swapped with something homemade, giving the car a distinctly custom, scrapyard-meets-art-project look.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apocalypse Chic on a Budget<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Up front, there&rsquo;s a steel bumper, new LED headlights, and a custom-crafted hood with vents and louvers, none of which serve any functional purpose. The windshield has then been protected with steel bars and includes a large LED light bar. Beefy new quarter panels have also been crafted for the VW, as have new wheel arches to house the aftermarket wheels and their all-terrain tires.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2022\/01\/this-honda-accord-and-chevrolet-suburban-mashup-is-mad-max-material\/\">The rear half of the car<\/a> is part-hatchback and part pickup truck. A small custom bed is present, complete with square arches. There&rsquo;s also a skull shifter to remind you of the post-apocalyptic theme. Incredibly, the rest of the interior appears mostly standard.
