While the crossover is an extended-range plug-in hybrid, it features a fully enclosed grille like an EV. We can also see a prominent sensor as well as a metallic strip that encompasses the vehicle.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>Continuing down the sides, there&rsquo;s flush-mounted door handles and aerodynamic wheels ranging in sizes from 19- to 21-inches. They&rsquo;re joined by plastic body cladding, a fixed panoramic glass roof, and vertical taillights that flow into the liftgate. This means the crossover is 5.4 inches (137 mm) shorter than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/volvo-xc90\/\">XC90<\/a> and has a 3.5-inch (89 mm) smaller wheelbase.<\/p>\n<p>Powertrain details are limited, but the XC70 will have a 161 hp (120 kW \/ 163 PS) 1.5-liter engine as well as a choice between lithium iron phosphate or ternary lithium-ion batteries.
